How to draw a belted kingfisher
Mark off the width and height of the belted kingfisher. Draw two ovals that will help to define places for its head and body. Add a line for the branch.
Draw guidelines for the kingfishers’ neck, chest and tail.
Define places for the legs and mouth.
Mark off shapes for the kingfishers’ wing and beak. Finish with the shape of the tail.
Draw the toes, eye and crest of the bird. Work more on the beak, tail, wings and branch.
Work on the figure, paying special attention to detail.
Contour the belted kingfisher, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line. Add more detail. Erase all guidelines.
