How to draw a flamingo
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing.
2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape.
3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle.
4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.
Mark off the width and height of the picture. Draw two ovals for the head and body of the flamingo. Add a line that will act as a beak center.
With smooth guidelines, draw a neck. Define the legs of the flamingo.
Define, with a small circle, the place for an eye. Add lines for a wing and show the beak.
Finish with the shape of the wing and the legs.
Draw lines for rows of feathers and the toes of the flamingo. Add details to the head.
Draw additional lines to show the shapes of the toes, ankle joints, webs. Outline the tail.
Work on the figure of the flamingo, paying special attention to details. Draw the feathers.
Contour, trying to vary the thickness and blackness of the line. Draw more details. Delineate the ground. Erase all guidelines.
