How to draw a realistic unicorn
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing.
2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape.
3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle.
4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.
Mark off the width and height of the picture. Draw an oval for the head and two intersecting ovals for the body of the unicorn.
Add guidelines for the neck, back and a wing.
Outline the general shape of the head and muzzle. Mark a wing lining (for small feathers).
Draw guidelines for the barrel, chest and legs.
Define the shapes of the horn, wing and tail of the unicorn.
Outline the legs, hooves and the second wing.
Draw feathers, a mane, an eye, nostrils and a mouth.
Add lines to further illustrate the unicorn.
Contour, paying attention to details. Outline some grass.
