1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing.
2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape.
3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle.
4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.

Step 1

Mark off the width and height of the picture. Draw a circle for the head and an oval for the body of the red fox. Add a line that will act as a guideline for a snout.

Define the muzzle shape, neck and tail.

Step 3

Draw guidelines for the legs. Delineate ears. Define, with a horizontal line, the places for the eyes of the red fox.

Step 4

Outline the shapes of the face, legs, and feet.

Step 5

Add details to show the head. Draw the neck and one of the front legs with the feet.

Step 6

With smooth lines, draw the shape of the body and the second front leg. Add eyes, jaws, a mouth, and a nose.

Step 7

Outline toes. Add more details to make the figure more realistic.

Step 8

Contour, paying attention to details. Draw the ground. Erase all the guidelines.
