How to draw a cartoon Christmas reindeer

1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing.
2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape.
3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle.
4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.

Mark off the width and height of the picture. Draw two ovals for the head and one oval – for the body of the cartoon reindeer. Draw a line through the center of its head.

Draw the shapes of the cartoon reindeer’s body and neck. Add a smooth guideline for its tail.

Use guidelines to define places for the legs and eyes.

Sketch the legs and head of the cartoon reindeer. Add guidelines for its hat.

Add the hoofs, ears, tail and hat of the cartoon reindeer. Draw horns.

Draw guidelines for the branches of the horns.

Finish with the horns, eyes and nose of the cartoon reindeer. Detail its hat. Add some snow.

Contour the cartoon reindeer, trying to vary the thickness and darkness of the line. Add more detail and add the tree. Erase all guidelines.
