How to draw a Fire Truck

You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps… Show more
1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing.
2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape.
3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle.
4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.

Mark off the width and height of the picture. Define the general proportions of the fire truck. Draw ovals that will become wheels.

Add lines to define parts of the fire truck.

Show, with straight lines, the rear parts of the truck. Define a cabin and windows. Add guidelines for the rear wheels.

Define the shapes of a tower ladder, the rear sides and the rest of the wheels. Add important details (lights, front grilles) and wheel centers.

Draw the wheel width. Draw additional details of the fire truck on its side and front parts. Outline a bumper.

Work on the figure by adding new smaller details to the fire truck.

Work on the figure of the fire truck, paying special attention to small details, parts and components.

Contour, trying to vary the thickness and blackness of the line. Draw more details and bushes. Delineate a road. Erase all guidelines.
